About Ken Knutson
Born in 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska, and raised in Denver, Colorado, Ken Knutson served with the United States Army Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 1959-1961 and was commissioned to construct the ‘Paratrooper Memorial’ – a fiberglass sculpture, still standing 15 feet tall. He attended the prestigious San Francisco Art Institute and was an exhibitor in the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts in California from 1963-1971. With more than six decades of experience, Mr. Knutson is a fine painter and an accomplished teacher, sculptor, and muralist. He is a father to four sons, resides in San Francisco, California, and remains active in the industry.
